How to justify the increase of $1. Mix was $6 2 weeks ago, now it's $7. Every other thing increases by $0.50 and give lesser portion. I'm too poor to eat bananas and sweet potato.
Location: Level 2, Unit Number #02-02

bought the mixed flavours. all the fried goods were sitting outside so they were very soggy. the fried yam was good, sweet potato was dry, bananas were thin which meant more of the soggy batter. sweet potato balls were alright. no purple balls though, so the photos were misleading.

I bought the mixed flavours. All the fried goods were sitting outside, so they were very soggy. The fried yam was good, the sweet potato was dry, and the bananas were thin, which meant more of the soggy batter. Sweet potato balls were all right. There were no purple balls, though, so the photos were misleading.

Bought the banana fritters. The owner was pleasant and gave lots of crispy bits. The banana was nice and soft inside with a crunchy batter. In terms of taste, neck to neck with the one with chain stores. They were churning out fresh batches of fried items as items went pretty quickly when I was there. The only downside is some of the bananas were a bit hard and dry. Otherwise it would be perfect. Would try the other items next time I'm back.

Thai fried bananas are seriously amazing! The outside is super crispy, while the inside is soft, warm, and sweet—one bite and I couldn’t stop. I love the toasty sesame seeds on the coating, and there are these little crunchy bits too—I’m not even sure what they are, but they’re so good. The fried sweet potato balls are also delicious—crispy on the outside, chewy and bouncy on the inside. Love them!

After dinner, Kitty and I stumbled upon Thai Khanom Bananas. We tried their banana fritters, which were crispy, tasty, and not too oily. The banana fritters were a delightful treat and among the best we have tried. Upon reading reviews, we learned that their potato fritters, yam balls, and fried yam chips are also highly recommended. We plan to return to try the other flavors and enjoy the mix flavors option, with a minimum purchase of 11 pieces for $6. Despite expectations of a 30-minute wait, we did not experience any delays during our visit, with no queue and immediate availability of the Banana Fritters. The flavorful banana fritters, excellent service provided by the two ladies, and the welcoming atmosphere with no waiting or surprises have earned Thai Khanom Bananas a 5-star rating. I look forward to providing subsequent reviews for the rest of the flavors on my future visits.

At a very good location in Anchorvale Village hawker center, right next to the escalator. I got the mixed set of 11 pieces for $6. Fried banana, sweet potato, yam and sweet potato balls. Every single piece was super crispy and delicious. My favourite is definitely the sweet potato balls. Will be back for more! Be warned there may be a long Q.

Fried yam is actually very nice with natural sweetness, just that when I bought them they are the remaining pieces and were cold, so reheat them in air fryer. The crispy bits are crunchy and not too sweet after air frying. Would probably give a 5 stars if I got them hot and crisp on the spot.

I love Thai Khanom banana fritters 🍌 & sweet potato 🍠 balls. Both are fried till golden brown & served warm. Best comfort food which is crispy, crunchy, sweet and comforting! Sweet potato balls are bouncy & chewy. 😋 🤤 As the store is closing, the kind lady filled up a bagful with heaps of banana fritters & loads of crunch for me! What a treat! Post-workout banana consumption helps the muscle replenish glycogen and aid in faster recovery. ❤️🩹 Staffs are cheerful and friendly. Located at anchorvale village hawker centre. Definitely worth the visit as it is a must have after dinner’s dessert! 😉☺️

It says waiting time is 1 hour, I asked the staff upon ordered it was about 20 minutes, came back to get my order. Order before taking dinner and came back after. The banana and sweet potato were good. Both were crispy. I ordered too many since it was long waiting time I thought might as well ordered more, I was wrong 😔. I was unable to finish them after dinner 😂
