The congee was alittle underwhelming.
Ingredients and portion were good.
Just taste lacking.

Witnessed a lady ordering for a disabled person sitting directly in front while asking if they could bring the hot bowl to that disabled person, they answered 'can'. After the lady paid and left they signaled the disabled person to come and get it himself. If they were not willing they should have said so. They were free but had difficulty taking 3 steps to bring food to a person who could not manage. As for the food, the porridge tasted like leftovers, the meat was not fresh and liver over-cooked, over-priced.

The worst gong bao frog i ever had. Not joking! So many black stains in the dish, how to eat? Acan see from my photos.. somemore they mentioned “must try”.. i ordered 3 frogs costing me $30, so exp.. the frog overcooked and the taste so so only.. frankly speaking, my advice to you all is dont even think of trying on this.

Porridge is average. You tiao is terrible. Portion can be pathetic for the price

Order was taken by a man in front of the stall and conveyed to the female cook in the stall. She was glued to her phone on social media for a good 30 seconds to a minute before she put down her phone. And she then asked order to be repeated.
Terrible attitude.

Had century egg / slice pork porridge plus egg. Price quite reasonable after 10% Fairprice discount but porridge was quite watery after few gentle stirring. Moreover, seem to be overloaded with MSG, felt thirsty immediately after eating
As compared to Chai Chee porridge, they have way to go. Would have given 2½ star only if there's such option
Unlikely to try again, not even for other items since basic dish was already somewhat let down

Porridge is quite smooth actually but my portion didn't come with fried fritters when I see other reviews the fritters are included.
Price wise above average..
My bowl of mixed pork porridge cost me $6 and I added century egg they charged additional $1.50
The pork fillings taste bland and wasn't seasoned at all.

Uncle hard sells the you tiao and egg (which costs extra). Moreover, he is quite forgetful (forgot both the you tiao and the egg even after hard selling them to me). The amount of ingredients for this specialty porridge is also very little compared to the picture in the stall. For $9.50 (buying there and not grab food) Wouldn't return.
Edit: turns out the egg is not even added (even though uncle claimed that it's added at the bottom of the bowl).
Really bad experience indeed

Ordered the pork porridge. Consistency was ok. Taste was ok according to my girl. But no you tiao was given and I had asked them to check. No youtiao.

I had a really unpleasant experience at this porridge stall recently. What happened was after I ordered my food, I asked the elderly man who was preparing the porridge how much it would cost. He didn’t respond, so I asked again, this time a bit louder, thinking he hadn’t heard me. To my surprise, he responded in a loud, rude and sarcastic manner, “Hey miss! I am cooking! can you wait!”
His tone was uncalled for and left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. While the food might have been decent, the way I was treated completely ruined my experience. It’s unfortunate because good service can really make a difference, but I won’t be returning due to the rude behavior I’ve encountered.

Sorry to say that they porridge actually failed badly.
Liver overcooked, porridge tasteless.
Only good thing is the you tiao they re fried so it taste better.
Definitely not worth a try.

very nice porridge but what is upsetting is the price. grab shows $8/bowl, buying at the shop itself cost $4.50. i know grab charge commission but almost doubling the price isit fair? somemore we cannot check out the porridge until we add on and the cheapest was egg which is $1.20. my whole porridge with discount voucher is close to $8 when i could have paid $3 cheaper if i bought there.

The porridge wasn't hot enough. My $6 mixed meat order contained only very small pieces of meat, and other porridge stores are much better. I've never had a porridge supper with so little meat before, and I won't be coming back. Thanks.

Ordered gong bao frog with porridge and was surprised how much meat we got and even more surprised how tender it was! Sauce was adequately seasoned, not over, very balanced taste. Highly recommend if you’re looking for frog porridge. Place can be crowded at regular meal times so suggest to come off peak hours.
