Ordered takeaway. Not original Indian briyani, but an interesting take on it. Definitely should try at least once. Portions were good. Okra/ladies fingers in the dishes gave it a 'asam pedas' vibe.
The briyani rice is quite well executed and tasty : 4/5
Chicken briyani : 4/5. Not authentic Indian style, but tasty.
Stingray briyani : 3/5. Briyani rice is standard for all items, but the sambal stingray combination did not work for us.
Sambal crayfish : 3/5. Tasted nice, but not sure about the freshness or cook. Meat was tough and sticking to the shell.

Very nice and satisfying chicken briyani.

The stall is now at the new Sengkang Hawker Centre. It is one of the stalls that has no queue. Had the sting ray and clams briyani. The sauce for the class were tasty but it was extremely salty. The sting ray was very thin and small and had hardly any meat. The rice is not as fragrant as before. Not sure whether they changed the spices. Today, I would rate this dish 2 stars.

One of the better briyani in Singapore and surprisingly run by 2 young Chinese boys.
The sambal sting ray for the briyani is very fresh and flavourful. The sambal is not too spicy. The grill chicken is super tender and just come off the bones. The taste is also very good. The briyani rice is cooked perfectly but the taste can be better. The ladies finger is very soft and nice. The curry gravy that accompanies the dishes is a little diluted but taste wise, it is OK.
Service is quick and efficient.
Total cost -$14.50 which is quite reasonable for the type of food and the quantity. Will definitely come back to try other dishes.

We had passed by yesterday after eating at the wonton noodles stall nearby, and decided to come here for lunch as there were nice smells wafting from the stall.
And we were not disappointed. The chicken dum briyani was full of flavour, and the chicken was tender and cooked well. The papadam was also crispy and fresh, and the egg and lady fingers were tasty. We also had the cuttlefish and prawn briyani. The cuttlefish was soft and tender but could have been slightly spicier. The three prawns were fresh and we loved the sambal they were cooked in.
The rice was a small portion and could have been better spiced, but it did pair well with the curry and sambal provided. It would also have been nice to have a bit of achar but that might add to the price of the dishes, which are reasonable.
We will be back soon to try the other dishes.

Interesting concept of briyani with grilled seafood. Tried lala and bbq stingray briyani. It was good, one lala was still closed and wasn't cooked and the stingray was small though but for the price was ok.
The queue was long and a bit slow. I saw about 8 people in front of me and took me more than 30 minutes for my order.

Briyani is nice, up to standard. The okra also good. Just wasted they don't have mutton otherwise is perfect. I didn't try seafood though, was lunch time n the place very hot n crowded, difficult find seats

if you are here reading it cos you haven't eaten this stall before, don't worry. Go ahead and try it. You will not regret.
I ordered 2 chicken bryani sets and my friend and I both love it so much.
Rice is so fluffy and fragrant. Chicken is nice and tender.
Will support them from now onwards!

I ordered the sambal stingray biryani with lala, and my friend ordered the regular sambal stingray biryani. Both for 7.80, for the portion, quality and taste of the food it's pretty worth it and justifiable.
when I went to collect the food, my friend wasn't with me as he idk just decided to chill at the table. as the aunty was loading the food onto the tray, she noticed that it was gonna be very hard for me to bring it back to my table. so she proceeded to ask her colleague to take care of the shop and help me bring my food to the table.
thank you aunty would come back again :) 🙏

Awesome meal! I've tried the chicken, stingray as well as stingray with lala.
Chicken is well simmered and tender, stingray was cooked with some charring taste, and the sambal chilli's all being very nice with gd balance of spiciness, savoury and tinge of swetness.
The lala was paired with a different chilli sauce that's slight sourish and very appetizing, it's also served with ladies finger and lots of onions.

Ordered the lala and stingray combo. Lala was plump and juicy, stingray fresh and succulent. Biryani rice was well spiced and not overpowering. Expect an explosion of flavours in your mouth. Worth it for the price. Will come back and try their other combos.

The flavour and portion is right up my alley! Stingray and lala was fresh and their sambal were so tangy and delish. The chicken was so tender and I love their fluffy briyani rice! Their pricing is super affordable and I hope they get enough business to maintain it. Super friendly and hardworking proprietor and I can't help but noticing his hands that's full of water blisters.
Please support!

I’ve had better biryanis but thi is pretty good for the price and it’s great to have seafood with malay flavours paired with biryani. Overall, we finished our plate. It is a go-to when you’re feeling hungry for a big meal.

Love the Anchorvale Village experience, so many.stalls to choose from. I had number 5: briyani with lala and stingray. Each of the components were delicious. The rice, both the seafood and all the different types of sambal. I would eat here again. My only complaint is that the portion size is too small making it a little pricey. Even after the 10% discount

Chinese doing indian cusine. We ordered the stingray, lala briyani set ($7). It surprise me, they does it pretty well. The stingray and lala is fresh. 👍. Add on $1 to the stingray set to change the lala to sotong instead.

Fusion Briyani - indeed, that is what you get from the stall. To me, it was a delightful surprise. I do love biryani, but I hate biting the spices. I could, however, have big mouth of rice in my mouth now and chew without worrying much. That was good news to me! It might not be the authentic nasi biryani but I would say, a healthier version! Both chicken and stingray tasted above standard, Flavorful, and had the kick. Not bad at all!
