SCAM: It was okay eating there until I decided to buy pints home for family. Check out the cookies and cream that presents more like a scam to me (see photo). Obviously only the top layer is cookies and cream (or. Oreo and cream, whatever they calls it), below is all vanilla?! Cheating won’t get you anywhere! There was no response when I contacted your company on social media private message since 13th March. Very very Disappointing. So much for supporting local business. I wouldn’t recommend anyone at all. Udders is even better. At least their flavours are authentic and they are honest to their customers. I like Baskin Robbin as well also because they allow trying. Giving you a 2 stars just for the sake of you all having to pay rent for a retail shop. But even so, you don’t even allow tasting, not something that will retain customers because some really don’t know which flavours to choose until they tried. All in all, you’re the last ice cream shop I will choose if I really is desperate for one.

If you haven't had the nian gao waffles at @thebetterscoop yet, it's time to do it this weekend. I absolutely fell in love with the rendition at their new Anchovale Village outlet as it was just so good! The Nian Gao Waffles ($6.80) we've got came crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I like how buttery and aromatic their waffles were, and that they gave a rather huge portion of Nian Gao! This gives them a chewy texture which was well appreciated. To go with their waffles, we got their Peanut and Black Sesame Muah Chee and Tie Guan Yin ($9.50 for both scoops). The peanut and black sesame muah chee was such an awesome flavour, as it tasted very much like the muah chee I used to eat often as a kid. Both flavours in the gelato were pronounced and complemented each other so well! There were additional muah chee cubes within too. The Tie Guan Yin flavour was much lighter yet still fragrant, perfect for those who prefer a more refreshing taste. Both flavours are absolutely recommended. Can't wait for my next time here! Definitely one of the best nian gao waffles I've had!

Went to visit Better Scoop at Anchor Village on the 25th July 2025 the staff JayyEn is very friendly and good service. The Waffle is very crispy to my liking and there are quite a selection of ice cream too.

4 star as they don’t allow sampling, it is not crowded 2pm Saturday. Ordered hazelnut Royale (very rich in hazelnut taste) and honey chamomile n butterfly pea quite sweet, both of it taste good It seems they got plans to sell cake as well

Ordered the Nian Gao Waffle with Muah Chee and Tie Guan Ying Ice Cream, overall not bad but the Muah Chee ice cream taste more like black sesame rather than Muah Chee

Nice ice cream with waffles in the neighbourhood. I won’t say it’s the best ice cream with waffles at similar price point. Service was okay.

Awesome cafe to hang out. Crispy waffle made fresh. Spoilt for choices of unique flavours of ice cream. Worth a visit

Came at 8pm on a weekday. Less crowd. Delicious nian gao waffle. Ice cream hazelnut and Bailey were good. The dessert ended my evening perfectly.

Repeated visits w very friendly staff Nian gao waffle & ice cream (strawberry chia seed & muah chee) still taste as great!!
