Can't find anything worthy to be praised when I am unable to eat more than half of the food. Taste wise it was bland and the only thing keeping it edible is the chilli. The staff wasn't friendly either, rushing customers to order and collect their food. Overall it was a bad experience, wouldn't recommend

Today order Ebi Udon think is the most terrible Udon I eat before. The soup with sour taste.

The more I ate, the worse it tasted. The meat inside was sour and not fresh. I didn't want to eat it anymore.

Botak uncle cashier dam rude attitude. If u accept CDC, please have more patience to get it scan and not to grumble if cant scan.. however first time try your food and the saba fish is small and smelly too. This hawker center atmosphere is good.

👍Newly opened Japanese Hawker Stall
✅️Some food is delicious, I ordered a bento and curry rice, they use corn as the veggie instead of pickled veggies.
⚠️Recently ordered a bento, their pickled veggies are mayo and corn, doesn't taste right, doesn't taste fresh.
✅️Service is quite fast, do note the uncle serving you has a little bit of speech issue, do say your order clearly in NUMBER.

Bought the curry omu rice with salmon from this Japanese stall. I did not expect the fish to be so thinly cut, it looks deceiving when you look at it front the top.
Mind as well just give me only the skin with how pathetic the salmon is. If you're going to be stingy with the portion, then don't advertise as a salmon dish at all. Overall food is decent, just avoid buying their salmon dishes.

I think the Ebi Udon I ordered today is the most terrible I've ever eaten. The soup had a sour taste.

This stall is located in a hawker centre on the 2nd floor of Anchorvale Village shopping centre, where the first floor is where the restaurants are located.
It has >30 stalls and can fit 600 pax. Good ventilation given high ceilings, open layout and large High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) ceiling fans.
Price is low and food quality is good in comparison to other typical hawker centre Jap/Korean food stalls:
Chicken Karaage Donburi $5.50 (one of the cheapest you can find anywhere)
Teriyaki Chicken + Beef rice $6.80
Chicken cutlet omelette curry rice $6.50
Parking - There is a MSCP right inside Anchorvale Village.
Kids playground is located on Level 4 and can be reached via stairs from level 3.

I would usually order #19. My 10 Yr boy also likes it too. 😁 One thing that keeps me coming back (not weekly basis of course) is the price. It is one of the most value meals at $5.50 for a Teriyaki Chicken Donburi. Of course, to save more, don't forget your Fairprice App (additional 10%).

Normally I see such japanese stalls with these kind menu items, I would be skeptical about the taste.
As it is a new addition to this hawker centre, I just thought I should give it a try. Cos never try never know ma, if not nice then don't return.
Looked through the menu and went with the bento set of teriyaki chicken with wagyu beef patty at $7.50 before discount.
Was given a buzzer and waited about 10mins during weeknight dinner crowd. Quite fast considering there was a constant queue for it.
I went straight for the meats first. Wagyu patty was soft and well-seasoned. This wagyu tasted like a lower grade minced wagyu as expected from the price point. Teriyaki chicken here refers to teriyaki sauce drizzled over a cutlet. Cutlet is crispy on the outside and tender within. Best thing was both served hot.
Corn salad and warm pearl rice accompanied the meats on the bento. Both are as expected in terms of taste. Miso soup tasted quite ok too.
Overall the meats were done well and served hot thus the 5 stars. Many of such japanese stalls that I have tried served their food cold/cooled down.
