Liked it. Dou Hua hot 50% sugar is less sweet than Mr bean’s 100% but it is more flavourful. Taste better. Large Dou Hua with peanut Tang yuan(4pc) $4.80. Liked that we can choose how many (min 4pc)

I bought small traditional beancurd with additional topping of kidney bean, which adds up to $2.60. Good portion for the price, value for money. It’s considered pretty smooth and comforting as a dessert. Best of all, superb service from the staff. Will be back to support and look forward to having more topping options!

September 2024: Tried the hot Traditional Beancurd a couple of weeks ago - it was super smooth and tasted even better with the soya milk in it. Bought the Traditional Herbal Grass Jelly with Osmanthus Syrup and at first I felt the $3.50 was a bit costly - but after I had a mouthful, I felt it was totally worth it. You could tell instantly that this was made from scratch. With more syrup, it would be perfect!!! Can’t wait to try the savoury items. May 2025: Finally came here on Saturday and tried the Hot & Sour beancurd - recommended with extra chilli and vinegar. It was honestly so addictive, I finished it in a few seconds..

I recently tried a savory beancurd that was really impressive. It had a smooth, silky texture, almost like chawamushi. The tau huay curd dont have any bitter aftertaste like you often get with other store versions. The umani sauce was light but savory, just perfect. The owner was super friendly and even gave me a sample of their homemade soymilk, which was amazing too. Definitely a great experience!

The food here is excellent. I have been here many times and the quality is very consistent. The spicy varieties are savoury and fragrant. Not too overpowering and goes well with the dou hua/mochi balls. I also had the pulut hitam with bean curd, but I much like my beancurd savoury. Can see the pulut hitam version being a hit for those who are looking for a dessert. Notable mention is the humble soya bean drink. It is so good! There is no funky bean smell at all. Just pure good and rich soya bean taste. You can choose your sugar levels for the beancurd and soya bean drink. Will highly recommend!

The bean flavor is not strong. It would be better if the beancurd flavor was stronger... grass jelly not that well and forgot add on syrup for me ! Innovative flavors that can be tasted.

I usually order the plain tau huay (both hot and cold) which is already good. After many purchases over a week, i finally asked about their savoury tauhuay. Oh boy, i wish i had asked earlier. i am addicted. The savoury which is with soy sauce and corriander - really hits the spot! On saturdays they offer the Hot and sour tauhuay, which is the hot & sour soup you get at restaurants, just with tauhuay in it. Creative and in fact, so much more enjoyable than the sweet tauhuay.
