It said the waiting time was 1 hour, but when I asked the staff upon ordering, they said it would be about 20 minutes. I came back to get my order. I ordered before dinner and came back after. The banana and sweet potato were good. Both were crispy. I ordered too many. Since it was a long waiting time, I thought I might as well order more. I was wrong 😔. I was unable to finish them after dinner 😂

I love Thai Khanom banana fritters 🍌 and sweet potato 🍠 balls. Both are fried until golden brown and served warm. Best comfort food, which is crispy, crunchy, sweet, and comforting! Sweet potato balls are bouncy and chewy. 😋 🤤 As the store was closing, the kind lady filled up a bagful with heaps of banana fritters and loads of crunch for me! What a treat! Post-workout banana consumption helps muscles replenish glycogen and aid in faster recovery. ❤️‍🩹 The staff are cheerful and friendly. It is located at Anchorvale Village Hawker Centre. Definitely worth the visit, as it is a must-have dessert after dinner! 😉☺️

Fried yam is actually very nice, with natural sweetness, but when I bought them, they were the remaining pieces and were cold, so I reheated them in an air fryer. The crispy bits are crunchy and not too sweet after air frying. I would probably give 5 stars if I had gotten them hot and crisp on the spot.

After our dinner at Anchorvale Village Hawker Centre, Donkey and I came across Thai Khanom Bananas. Intrigued by the offerings, we decided to indulge in their banana fritters, which pleasantly surprised us with their crispy and flavorful profile, albeit slightly oily. These banana fritters definitely stood out as one of the best we have ever tasted. We also discovered that their potato fritters, yam balls, and fried yam chips come highly recommended by fellow patrons. We are excited to return and delve into these options, including the mix flavors selection that involves a minimum purchase of 11 pieces for $6. Contrary to our expectations of a potential 30-minute wait, we were met with prompt service at Thai Khanom Bananas. There was no queue, and the banana fritters were readily available for us to enjoy. The delectable flavors, efficient service from the two amiable ladies, and the welcoming ambiance, free of delays or unexpected challenges, merit Thai Khanom Bananas a well-earned 5-star rating. I eagerly look forward to exploring the other flavors and continuing to share my experiences in future reviews.

Thai fried bananas are seriously amazing! The outside is super crispy, while the inside is soft, warm, and sweet—one bite and I couldn’t stop. I love the toasty sesame seeds on the coating, and the little crunchy bits too—I’m not even sure what they are, but they’re so good. The fried sweet potato balls are also delicious—crispy on the outside, chewy and bouncy on the inside. Love them!

Bought the banana fritters. The owner was pleasant and gave lots of crispy bits. The banana was nice and soft inside with a crunchy batter. In terms of taste, neck and neck with those from chain stores. They were churning out fresh batches of fried items as items sold quickly. The only downside is some of the bananas were a bit hard and dry. Otherwise, it would be perfect. I would try the other items next time I'm back.

After dinner, Kitty and I stumbled upon Thai Khanom Bananas. We tried their banana fritters, which were crispy, tasty, and not too oily. They were a delightful treat and among the best we have tried. Upon reading reviews, we learned that their potato fritters, yam balls, and fried yam chips are also highly recommended. We plan to return to try the other flavors and enjoy the mixed flavors option, with a minimum purchase of 11 pieces for $6. Despite expectations of a 30-minute wait, we did not experience any delays during our visit; there was no queue, and the banana fritters were immediately available. The flavorful banana fritters, excellent service provided by the two ladies, and the welcoming atmosphere with no waiting or unexpected issues have earned Thai Khanom Bananas a 5-star rating. I look forward to reviewing the other flavors on my future visits.

Located at a very good spot in Anchorvale Village hawker center, right next to the escalator. I got the mixed set of 11 pieces for $6. The set included fried banana, sweet potato, yam, and sweet potato balls. Every single piece was super crispy and delicious. My favourite is definitely the sweet potato balls. Will be back for more! Be warned: there may be a long queue.

This stall is located in a hawker centre on the 2nd floor of Anchorvale Village shopping centre, with restaurants located on the first floor. The hawker centre has over 30 stalls and can accommodate 600 people. Ventilation is good, thanks to high ceilings, an open layout, and large High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) ceiling fans. Prices are reasonable, at approximately 50 cents per piece: * Fried bananas: 8 pieces for $4.50, 10 pieces for $5.50 * Fried yam chips: 10 pieces for $4.50 * Fried potato fritters: 10 pieces for $5.50

I bought the mixed flavours. All the fried goods were sitting outside, so they were very soggy. The fried yam was good, the sweet potato was dry, and the bananas were thin, which meant more of the soggy batter. Sweet potato balls were all right. There were no purple balls, though, so the photos were misleading.
