You won’t be disappointed if you come with zero expectations! Despite the poor ratings, business is booming. Main issue is that they can’t handle the orders. They left my food at the counter and didn’t bother to inform me or sound my buzzer. In the end, I got my food cold.

Here's the edited review:
"This is the second time I have experienced poor food quality and service at this particular stall. The chicken was still undercooked and pink, and the carbonara was totally tasteless. The staff at the front counter were rushing for payment. I have been dining at Soldier Chicken for as long as I could remember. So far, the Hougang and Serangoon outlets have been maintaining their quality of food and service, but Anchorvale Village… y'all gotta buck up, man!"

Ordered chicken cutlet, asked the staff if I could change sides. She replied, 'Cannot change sides, take it or not.' The chicken cutlet was also undercooked, a bit pinkish on the meat. The fries were also not nice.

The Teriyaki chicken chop is a big portion and very nice. The mushroom aglio olio is only $3.00. Good place to dine when you're on a budget.

Aglio Olio was fine, the chicken chop tasted burnt, and the Chicken Creamy Carbonara was the worst – it tasted like boiled pasta soaked in Magnolia milk, with tasteless chicken cubes that I couldn't even swallow. Portion used to be great until it became like a kid's meal. The Hougang stall is better. Outrageous! It spoiled my mood after a long, tiring day of work.

It offers value for money, especially with the FairPrice app. The food is very average and quite oily. The price is reasonable. Neutral recommendation.

See my palm and the size of the bun, and you'll know the quantity. Totally not the same portion as what is shown on the menu. Not worth the price.

I used to patronize the one in Hougang and loved that stall. I have a few things to pick with this stall in Anchorvale.
A. The Filipina/Myanmese lady at the counter should take a day off if she's in a bad mood. Not friendly and wanted to charge me $1 for a scoop of mayonnaise sauce.
B. The chicken is sour. I don’t know if it’s the meat turned bad or it’s the seasoning. The meat looks okay to me, though.
Conclusion: Avoid, and I won’t be back.

Finally got to try this stall's food.
✨ Chicken Cutlet
The breadcrumbs were quite fragrant and went well with the tangy lemon sauce. The portion was sizable, especially at this price point after discount. The bun and fries were pretty standard. Overall, quite nice, and I will certainly be back for more.
✨ Fish & Chips (2nd visit)
Not sure what fish they use, but it is not dory. Personally, I don't exactly like the taste of that fish, but my parents will probably love it. The portion was very worth it, similar to the previous visit. I cannot stop thinking about their chicken cutlet 🤩🤩🤩.

This stall is located in a hawker centre on the 2nd floor of Anchorvale Village shopping centre, while the first floor houses the restaurants.
It has over 30 stalls and can accommodate 600 pax. The hawker centre offers good ventilation, thanks to its high ceilings, open layout, and large High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) ceiling fans.
Price is reasonable and food quality varies:
Chicken cutlet/chop is big but can sometimes taste sour.
The fish in the Fish & Chips is not dory.
Aglio olio is okay, but the carbonara spaghetti was watery and the pasta was too al dente.
Mushroom cream carbonara pasta $6.50
Chicken chop/cutlet with sides, Fish & Chips $7.50
Chicken chop/cutlet rice $7.50
Chicken chop with Aglio Olio pasta $9.90
Lamb chop $12.30
Beef Ribeye $15.90
Parking: There is an MSCP located right inside Anchorvale Village.
A kids' playground is located on Level 4 and can be reached via stairs from Level 3.
