The food was decent, and the service was great by the counter staff. Overall, the food was good, just a little salty for me. The food can be warmer as it turns cold quite fast in the aircon environment. The beef rendang was not edible as it was very hard. Feedback to the staff, and they immediately inform the management on this matter.

Cosy area to eat, food was not bad, good value for the price. Service was top notch! Staff was very attentive and friendly. Even checking in with us if we had the merdeka card for the 10% discount.

Surprisingly the mee Siam tasted very delicious and the laksa was very average. Decent meal with simple ingredients only..

From Anchorvale Village. The chicken wing nasi lemak is fantastic. Chilli is great and the acar. I’ve bought from them many times till today when the chicken isn’t cooked through properly. I hope the owners can correct this issue from further problems to the food served. Thanks.

Food taste good. Great service. Usually go for their $7 afternoon tea set available from 2pm to 5pm for dine in. Good for one person as each item comes in small portion and get to taste a variety of items. If I am there during dinner time, will order their laksa. Always finish the laksa gravy. That's how good it is.

Good and reasonable price. It hard to find such a quality place for local favourite foods. This is the place to go for a nice meal for local food especially nonya.

Rempah by Chili Padi. Food was affordable and nice. Loved the blue pea nasi lemak. The rice was so fragrant and the chicken wing was fried perfectly. The nyoya laksa was also great. Coconuty and not too spicy. Space is small so do take note if you are planning to dine in. Staff was nice too in serving.

New halal-certified Rempah by Chilli Padi, offering dishes priced below $10! They've got an array of delicious dishes priced below $10! You can look forward to favourites like the hearty Seafood Laksa Paofan for just $7.50, or the vibrant Bluepea Nasi Lemak Ayam Bakar at $8.50. I also love their Dry Mee Siam at just $4.80 and the flavourful Dry Laksa for $7.20. For a light snack, their Kueh Pai Ti (6 pieces for $6) is a great choice. And if you’re like me and love to end a meal on a sweet note, their colourful Nyonya kueh lineup is a must-try! Options like the creamy Kueh Salat, the cheerful Rainbow Lapis, the comforting Baked Ubi, the fragrant Kueh Dadar, and the delightful Kueh Koswee, all priced between $1.60 and $1.80, are perfect for satisfying any sweet tooth. Location: Rempah by Chilli Padi, Anchorvale Village, 339 Anchorvale Rd, B1-05, Singapore 540339

I have to say this first. I married a Peranakan and they are really fussy w their traditional foods. That said, it also means i have been exposed to legit homecooked peranakan foods and as well been brought to legit Peranakan restaurants for meals. Rempah was a mixed experience. Their flagship, Chilli Padi, is amazing. Legit, authentic peranakan foods even the pickiest nonya would appreciate. Rempah on their other hand, was abit of a let down. Problem could be me not managing my expectations. I came with my wife and decided to have a taste of as much foods as possible. Here is a summary. Mee Siam *to be fair, peranakans not very known for Mee Siam, just something i wanted to have. - it was decent, not amazing fantastic. Definitely have had better. Ayam Buah Keluak - the Ayam was nice, good seasoning, good earthy flavours. The chap chye on the other hand was bland. Kueh Pai Ti - cute novelty kids might love. Having to fill in the kueh themselves. Taste wise so so. Kueh Kuehs - Kueh Dardar too dry skin too thick. Kueh Salat - not enough kaya, too much rice. Ubi - bland However, their kopi nice.

The foods are yummy and flavourful , especially the Nyonya laksa, the soup tastes umami even before mixing with sambal . Price is reasonable and the staffs are friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back for more
