It's hard to find anything praiseworthy when I couldn't even eat more than half of the food. Taste-wise, it was bland, and the only thing keeping it edible was the chilli. The staff wasn't friendly either, rushing customers to order and collect their food. Overall, it was a bad experience. I wouldn't recommend it.

Not bad.
The egg is smooth.
The rice portion is reasonable.
The chicken and shrimp are crispy.
But the curry is too little, so -1 star.

I would usually order #19. My 10-year-old boy also likes it. 😁 One thing that keeps me coming back (not on a weekly basis, of course) is the price. It is one of the best value meals at $5.50 for a Teriyaki Chicken Donburi. Of course, to save more, don't forget your Fairprice App (for an additional 10% off).

👍 Newly opened Japanese Hawker Stall
✅️ Some food is delicious; I ordered a bento and curry rice, and they used corn as the vegetable instead of pickled vegetables.
⚠️ Recently, however, when I ordered a bento, their 'pickled vegetables' were mayo and corn, which didn't taste right or fresh.
✅️ Service is quite fast. Do note that the uncle serving you has a slight speech impediment, so please say your order clearly, using numbers.

The Botak uncle cashier had a damn rude attitude. If you accept CDC, please have more patience to get it scanned and do not grumble if it can't scan. However, this was my first time trying your food, and the saba fish was small and smelly. This hawker center's atmosphere is good.

My son really loves this store. Food portions are big. Omelette looks nice! chicken cutlets and prawns are crispy. Rice with curry matches well. Teppan omu teriyaki beef is my son's favourite.

This stall is located in a hawker centre on the 2nd floor of Anchorvale Village shopping centre, while restaurants are on the first floor.
The hawker centre has over 30 stalls and can accommodate 600 people. Ventilation is good, thanks to high ceilings, an open layout, and large High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) ceiling fans.
Prices are low and food quality is good in comparison to other typical hawker centre Japanese/Korean food stalls:
Chicken Karaage Donburi $5.50 (one of the cheapest you can find anywhere)
Teriyaki Chicken and Beef Rice $6.80
Chicken Cutlet Omelette Curry Rice $6.50
Parking: A Multi-Storey Car Park (MSCP) is located directly within Anchorvale Village.
A kids' playground is located on Level 4 and can be reached via stairs from Level 3.

Normally, when I see Japanese stalls with these kinds of menu items, I would be skeptical about the taste.
As it is a new addition to this hawker centre, I just thought I should give it a try. Because you never know until you try; if it's not good, then I won't return.
I looked through the menu and went with the bento set of teriyaki chicken and wagyu beef patty, priced at $7.50 before discount.
I was given a buzzer and waited about 10 minutes during the weeknight dinner crowd. This was quite fast, considering there was a constant queue for it.
I went straight for the meats first. The wagyu patty was soft and well-seasoned. This wagyu tasted like a lower-grade minced wagyu, as expected from the price point. Teriyaki chicken here refers to teriyaki sauce drizzled over a cutlet. The cutlet was crispy on the outside and tender within. The best thing was that both were served hot.
Corn salad and warm pearl rice accompanied the meats in the bento. Both were as expected in terms of taste. The miso soup tasted quite okay too.
Overall, the meats were done well and served hot, hence the 5 stars. Many of the Japanese stalls I have tried served their food cold or cooled down.
