Dishonest. The cashier told me all ayam rempah, prawn sambal, etc., on the menu were finished. Only deep-fried chicken cutlet and luncheon were left. But after 30 minutes, I noticed people ordering and having them! Next time, please advise there is a waiting time instead of simply telling customers it's sold out for the day! Review on food: The scrambled egg was way too oily, and the sambal too sweet! The chicken cutlet tastes like the frozen kind bought from FairPrice, especially since the chicken texture is processed.

Ayam panggang is delicious, with flavorful chicken and nice scrambled egg. Note that the chicken is more satay-like, and the egg is runny. I would compare it to Danlao, but it feels a little less greasy. Overall, it's delicious and good value for money.

The panggang chicken was tender and flavourful. The scrambled egg was soft and not watery. The cashier was friendly.

Was surprised to see the ingredients all pre-prepared and hanging out on a shelf. The food was cold, and I wasn't able to finish it. This is not worth 6.90. Do yourself a favour and buy the hot food at any other stall here.

$5.90 for a bowl of luncheon egg rice. I saved $0.59 using the Fairprice app, so I only paid $5.31. It’s not cheap, but you can eat this simple, tasty comfort food without having to cook at home.

Wanted to order ayam berempah, but it was sold out at dinner time. Ordered taliwang chicken cutlet instead. I asked if the chicken was not spicy for a child to eat, and the staff said it wasn't. However, it was spicy even without the chili. My kid didn't eat it afterward. Preparation was quick. It was ready in only 2 minutes after ordering.

Yummy and worth it! Each bowl of chicken, egg, and rice is so affordable and delicious. Their signature chicken is soooo fragrant. Each bite reminds me of Malaysian food restaurants. Pair it with their rice, doused in savoury sauce, and oh my god, it's so homely and hearty. The egg is also so silky and tasty, oh my god! So good to eat with the rice and chicken! They have 3 different types of chilli you can choose from! Some chilli is a bit too sweet, but nonetheless really good to pair with. A lovely lady served us that day. Would definitely eat here again!

Ayam Panggang Egg Rice @ Kawan Bowl If you love scrambled egg rice, this is a flavorful twist on your classic comfort food. The chicken is nice and tender, and the sauce is nutty and rich. The egg is also thick and has a smooth and loose texture. It gets this close to being gelat, but thankfully the portions *were* just before that point. You might want to come hungry, but it’s great eating and definitely worth a try!

Delicious! The texture of the scrambled egg is just right. The chicken leg is flavourful, and the serving size is generous! Great value for money. I will come back again!
