Here's an edited version: 1. The portion is reasonable with lots of meat, so it's pretty worth it. 2. The soup broth taste is average. Somehow, after the meal, it doesn't feel 'shiok'. 3. No 芋头饭. 4. There's always room for improvement.

TL;DR: The pig's organ soup gets 3.5⭐ My wife dabao-ed braised pig's trotters from this stall yesterday, so I thought I'd visit to try their pig's organ soup. (The braised meat was tender and savoury — I could taste either the star anise or cinnamon used to cook it. 😁 But beware the #SodiumOverload in the gravy — yucks!) My order was sans liver — this is the other viscera included by default, apart from pig stomach. First sip of the warm soup revealed a slight but recognisable pig organ stench; since they don't serve pig intestines here (which is another "spare part" I'd avoid lol), I reckon the smell must have come from the animal's stomach. Also, the soup was less peppery than expected. Additionally, *kiam chye* was added sparingly. The pork slices looked weird as they seemed improperly cut; they tasted "blocky" rather than tender 👎 Meatballs fared better, though I don't consider this an ingredient of classic pig's organ soup 🤔 As for the pig stomach, it was well cleaned and retained its chewy texture after cooking. Nice that it was sliced thin 😋 The killer — and disgusting item to me — was the all-fat pieces of pork belly! Such a turn-off! Old folks would probably like it, though to the detriment of their health :( Disappointingly, they #CannotCookRiceProperly here. This made the meal much less enjoyable, as soup goes with rice. The chilli sauce was probably the saving grace to raise my rating to 3.5/5. Luckily, #MHTamChiak liked their pig's trotters, so it was 4 stars overall 😆 I can see a revisit in the distant future.

The pork soup was delicious, and had just a little MSG, as I didn't feel overly thirsty afterward. The Mei Cai with pork was tender and soft. The person who took the order was friendly and very helpful.

Here's the edited review: This stall is located in a hawker centre on the 2nd floor of Anchorvale Village shopping centre, with restaurants on the first floor. It has more than 30 stalls and can accommodate 600 people. Good ventilation, given its high ceilings, an open layout, and large High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) ceiling fans. Food quality varies. The soup has good taste but seems to be missing a base ingredient. The pork belly can be too fatty. Price is reasonable. Parking: There is an MSCP right inside Anchorvale Village. A kids' playground is located on Level 4 and can be reached via stairs from Level 3.

I've eaten here a few times now. I like the pig trotters and the well-cooked meats. Pig livers are cooked just the way I like, medium to medium well. The only slight drawback is the soup. The few times that I have ordered the soup, I felt it was not flavourful enough. It seems to be missing a bit of something; I can't quite put my finger on it. Nonetheless, I really enjoy their braised pig trotters and boiled meats.
