The stall owner was very nice and patient! I ordered the plain and prawn cheong fun. Both were flavourful and tasty.

For $4.50, I only got a pathetic handful of shredded bits of charsiew. I might as well go to a chicken rice shop and order charsiew fan with a big chunk of charsiew for just $1 more. I wish I could take a photo for you, but I couldn't find the photo upload button. This pathetic, kiamsiap business owner gives you pathetic, tiny little bits of charsiew. Pathetic ass. I will not come again. I felt like being conned :(((

Ordered $3.50 plain chang feng. Was shocked that it was shockingly plain. It came with no sesame sauce. I had to pour the oil and chili myself... This was already not a great start. It was nothing like the other great HK-style chang feng I've had before. But one bite in... Okay, it was super redeemable. Well-made, very silky and soft, yet firm. It went very well with the oil. I didn't pour enough, so I went back to get more oil. Dipped into chili for the mild sambal heat. If you like vanilla chang feng, this is for you... If they decided to add peanut or sesame sauce, I'd probably give them five stars. Adding some spring onion would also help with photo taking.

The Chee Cheong Fun was average-tasting. I ordered the scallop Chee Cheong Fun, and the scallop tasted a little weird. The gravy was a little too sweet. I prefer Chef Wei’s Chee Cheong Funs.

There wasn't a long queue, and the skin was smooth and the fillings were generous. The chili was flavorful and complemented the dish perfectly.

Some 2 weeks later... Cannot eat vadai today :( Do read my visual review anyway... https://goo.gl/maps/8516mwPf2kHegEBf8?g_st=ac So, I went upstairs to satiate the craving for freshly made CCF instead. Today I decided to try it with char siew filling... The minced meat looks and feels nothing like char siew — no characteristic red tint nor a firmer bite! Taste-wise, it's just okay. One thing that's consistent here and it irks me: their only sauce is way too salty!!! Even when you're lifting the rice roll pieces with chopsticks, you can't avoid the sodium! Luckily, the hot teh-O worked its charm 😂 Looks like I shan't bother to travel this far for a food item that is starting to displease?! 🤔 I mean, if I wanted chee cheong fun that's "kiam," there's always SK Square nearby... ------- I didn't even notice they have been awarded a Michelin bib... Honestly, this kind of accreditation doesn't mean much to #MHTamChiak; it just makes it harder to live up to expectations from paying customers 😂 So, unknowingly, I gave their chee cheong fun a shot... My, what a nice surprise :) Soft and thin CCF made on the spot is always preferred, and the sauce that went with it is flavoursome 😋 Just don't drink it as it's the usual salty stuff that's found everywhere 🤣 Will certainly be back to try their CCF with fillings. Definitely one of the better food items to have (with teh-O?) for a light snack anytime!

Great, tasty, consistent. If you want above-average CCF, this is the place to go. Generous with their fillings, you are sure to get some prawns or char siew with every bite. A little stingy with the sauce, but apart from that, they are all good.

I enjoyed this scallop cheong fun. The cheong fun itself was incredibly smooth and soft. The scallop filling was generous and well-seasoned. The light soy sauce and sesame seeds were a nice complement to the dish. A tasty and satisfying meal.
