Food quality is above average, but prices are higher than another stall I patronize, Thunder Tea Rice (which offers a brown rice upgrade FOC and more generous portions). This stall also skimps on the green tea, especially when you bring your own containers for takeaway; the cashier, in particular, will be stingy and give you a look when you ask for a bag to take your items home. Their attitude seems to be that if you don't pay 30 cents for the takeaway container, then you shouldn't be asking for a plastic bag to carry your items. This is penny wise, pound foolish, in my view.

I ordered Set A, which came with rice and 3 pieces of yong tau foo. The fried ones were a little oily but still delicious. They could have drained the fried items more, but overall it was very yummy.

Nice Hakka Yong Tau Fu. The chilli sauce goes well with the food.

Specifically told her the top and bottom row, but she picked the eggplant from the middle row, then hid it with a big tofu piece, then didn't allow an exchange. The peanuts taste rancid today too.

I am very obsessed with this and cannot stop eating this every day. Also, what did they put in the chilli that makes it so addictive? 🥺

Best Leicha and Hakka niang tofu at a reasonable price. Highly recommended for all. Bought it home for dinner and made a gravy with abalone sauce and garlic to try it with a gravy. It tasted delicious too, as it helps to balance out some of the oil from deep frying. Good to offer this option to customers as you will win a wider customer base. Keep it up.

Here's the edited review:
Ordered Set A of the Lei Cha with brown rice and 3 Yong Tau Foo.
The portions for the Lei Cha and Yong Tau Foo are good and generous. The food isn't salty, tastes nice, and goes very well with their chili.
I personally like the size of their Yong Tau Foo; it is well-stuffed with minced pork.

I've been craving Thunder Tea Rice with brown rice, so I did some research for a good one. I'm glad I came here, as the Thunder Tea Rice was delicious! I ordered Set A, which came with 3 pieces of yong tau foo. I loved the tea/soup, as it was so comforting to drink. The chilli went very well with the rice and the yong tau foo. Highly recommend! 👍

Thunder Tea Rice comprises a bowl of green tea soup with a variety of toppings such as peanuts, sesame seeds, pickled radish, tofu, and finely-chopped vegetables (kailan, long beans, cabbage). You can add Yong Tau Foo ingredients too (e.g., eggplant, bittergourd, tau kwa, tau kee), or order YTF by itself.
From $5
Set A ($8.30) is lei cha + 3 pieces of YTF.
Set B ($11.70) is lei cha + 7 pieces of YTF.
Parking - There is a MSCP right inside Anchorvale Village.
Kids' playground is located on Level 4 and can be reached via stairs from Level 3.

I think this is the best Thunder Tea Rice that I have tried. I ordered Set A (comes with 3 fried Yong Tau Foo pieces) and brown rice.
The soup is pleasant with a light, savoury taste (usually, the ones I've tried elsewhere taste unappetising on their own). It complements the rice well.
The chilli is on the sour side and appetising. Yums!
For the YTF pieces, I especially like the thin beancurd skin and the eggplant.
Delicious meal. I will be back for more!
