I had such a lovely experience at Shimmer and Shine Anchorvale Village. Kitty, who did my lashes, is so friendly and careful, making sure everything was just right. I’m really happy with how they turned out! Lily did my nails, took her time, and made sure I was comfortable while giving me the design I wanted. The vibe in the salon is super relaxed, and the staff are all very friendly, especially Kitty and Lily. The prices aren’t the cheapest around, but they’re really reasonable, especially with a package discount. The pictures of my nails and lashes were taken after two weeks, and they still look great! It’s rare to find a place where you feel so at ease while making yourself pretty. Highly recommend this outlet if you’re looking for quality and a personal beauty service.

Great services by Ivy at Anchorvale village branch, she did both my manicure & pedicure, the whole session was comfortable, relax and enjoyable. Love the nail color too. Will definitely come back and recommend her service to my friend as well.

I did an eyelash extension at Shimmer & Shine just 3 days ago, expecting the extensions to last at least a month. The price for the lash extension was $88, plus an additional $38 for an LED service (to supposedly make it last longer) and $10 more for an eye pad — totaling $136 for lashes alone. After the service, they upsold me a $1500 membership package, claiming it would give 20% off future services. I ended up purchasing it — my mistake. However, the lash quality was extremely disappointing. Just 4 to 5 hours after the appointment, I noticed 3-4 lashes falling off, which I initially ignored, thinking it was normal. But over the next few hours, more and more lashes kept falling — all within 24 hours. I am seriously concerned about the quality of the glue and LED used. The results are nowhere near what was promised, and frankly, it’s embarrassing to say that these lashes were done by Shimmer & Shine. I had complain call and the store manager herself revealed that LED quality was not good with low intensity. I think it is the minimum requirement to check out to serve the customer. However you can go and enjoy with around 100$ spending which offers the result with not only good design but also not long lasting one. Just to add on, I also did a pedicure which cost $147 which store initially stated, but with an additional $87 for an overlay which they only revealed the price after they have done in final. With the amount given, quality and design are bad which cannot say people that you did at saloon. Later, I read through the reviews and realized that others had shared similar bad experiences. Lesson learned: Always read customer reviews carefully before making any decisions. Salespeople will say whatever they can to close a sale — it’s their job. Be cautious. Suggestion: management should access quality the products they provide. I rarely give bad reviews, I often keep it on my own. But for this one, I really got bad quality and I don’t want people to be scammed with same situation. I requested for cancellation of membership and refund within 24hrs and management is not taking action yet until 4days long. Eyebrow embroidery: Was surprised to find that the advertised à la carte pricing does not include the essential "Needle," which incurs an additional S$38 nett. This extra charge was not disclosed upfront, which feels misleading and it’s a big turn-off. It’s unclear why the needle isn’t included in the base price, as it’s a fundamental part of the procedure when the procedure itself costs at least $300-$400+ and so if a customer refuses to pay the additional fee, I wonder how would the service even be carried out - especially after the numbing cream was applied and eyebrow shape was already drawn. This raises concerns about their transparency in pricing. All businesses should be upfront about all costs before the service begins to ensure customers can make informed decisions. Hidden fees like this leave a negative impression and could easily be avoided with clearer communication.

Big thanks to kitty and Selina for the pretty nails! they were friendly and attentive and can see that they really take pride in their work. Though they did recommend packages (it's part of their work after all) there was no pressure. the entire experience was a pleasant one :)

Very lousy job of their eyelash extensions! 4June I do my lash, After 1day I done my lash have already drop few and crooked. 5June I going back for touch up , and I have told the staff I do this lash for 2 date wedding dinner! 9June I text them about my feedback, and send them few photo to proof the lash no lasting , they just say sorry only? No to help me solve the problem I spend $59 for my first time, when I payment keep asking about buy the package Now just for 1 week, my all lash almost gone!! I very disappointed of this! Keep saying check the staff but never give me a good reason for why your $59 lash only can last of few day? I’m not first time doing eyelash extension, normally can last at least 3week. Now I have to go wedding dinner , but my lash VERY VERY messy. I very disappointed of my this experience at your shop

Signed package few months back. Came a few times already. Visited the outlet and got serve by Emily today. Name tag stated manager but her service and attitude was the worst I’ve encountered so far. Keep pushing for sea salt treatment twice and wasn’t gentle with cutting my cuticles. Felt like she was rushing to get her job done. Horrible
