This is my favorite mala spot in Sengkang! Not sure why there are so few reviews here... but I especially love how tender their meat slices are and that they also offer sliced rice cakes!

This review is from a visit some months back. We ordered their budget meal from here twice. The first time, they didn't include the rice, even though the menu clearly shows it's included as part of the deal. The second time, even in the early afternoon, they said this budget option was not available. Why bother signing a contract with Kopitiam and showing you have a budget meal if you're not going to follow the rules? I understand times are difficult, but a contract is a contract. Kopitiam management, please look into this!

Disappointing Portions, Overpriced for What You Get Be careful when dining here—the food is not charged by weight but rather per piece or small portion, making it incredibly expensive for what you get. Dishes are served with only a few pieces per serving, and you’ll be charged anywhere from $1.00 to $2.90 per portion, which adds up quickly. The portions are miserably small, and the value just isn’t there. Definitely not worth the price.

This stall is located in a hawker centre on the 2nd floor of Anchorvale Village shopping centre, with restaurants on the first floor. It has over 30 stalls and can accommodate 600 people. Good ventilation given high ceilings, open layout, and large High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) ceiling fans. Pricey as they charge by the item rather than by weight: Individual mala (1 meat, 3 vegetable rice) $6.80 Mapo tofu $8 Spicy Chicken cubes 辣子鸡 $14 Fried Shrimp in Hot Spicy Sauce 7pc $16 Cumin beef $14 Pickled Veg Sliced Fish $17 Grilled fish $26 Parking - There is a Multi-Storey Car Park (MSCP) right inside Anchorvale Village. A children's playground is located on Level 4 and can be reached via stairs from Level 3.
