BS food and service. I was served by a Chinese lady. I ordered bee hoon and chicken wing; the lady asked if I wanted to add an egg, but I declined. She insisted, saying, “鸡蛋好吃鸡蛋好”. The food was just salty, and the chili was watery. Don’t waste your time. The bee hoon and chicken wing from 97 Nasi Lemak is better.

The fried chicken here truly lives up to its reputation as the best in town. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, it's a delightful treat for any fried chicken enthusiast. Pair it with their tasty bee hoon and noodles, which are flavorful and cooked just right. Also, don't miss their otah, a spicy and aromatic side dish that complements the meal perfectly!

Very generous portion at reasonable price. Top notch service and food quality. Very nice and honest seller. She added on another free otah for me as she claimed that the 1st one was too small.

My first time having these chicken wings was at their Commonwealth stall. The wings here are slightly different from there, but still good. The chili is also saltier.

In my opinion, it's much better than Ah Tan's wings.
Of course, they are not the same type; Eng Kee offers the traditional fried chicken wings many of us grew up with. Though served lukewarm, they gave more satisfaction than Ah Tan's wings, and I didn't experience the yucky/jelat sensation after just two wings.
But the stall front is really unattractive. Although they have a good product, the stall won't attract many walk-by or incidental customers. I think the bulk of their customers are those who already know about them.

Somehow, different outlets have different serving portions and tastes. For this outlet, the bee hoon was salty and super oily. You might feel like having a Chinese tea to ‘wash down’ afterwards. I still rate Commonwealth outlet and Redhill as 👍

It does taste slightly more salty than normal, but not crazily salty 🤣 Maybe the cook is still adjusting?

I often walk over to patronize, but these two times I've been back-to-back, the beehoon is crazily salty. They got famous for skillfully fried beehoon, the star of the show along with their fried chicken wings. But this is really unacceptable. It feels like everything was dipped in salt water. Yuck. 🤢 Is this a joke!!!!!!!!!?
I told the staff, but they don't seem to bother. This is the last time I'll be patronizing.
I didn't eat the beehoon because it was too salty.
